Vanity Project Completed!
This post may contain affiliate links. Disclosure here. Hooray, the vanity project is complete! Thought I would share these projects as they are completed. I have no idea how long it might take to get them into their final location. Hope you like them as much as I do. This project was a big one. We found this on Facebook Marketplace . I was so lucky to find this dresser. The dresser needed to be wide enough to fit both sinks and faucets. I wish I had taken a better picture with the drawers in. Someday there will be a mirror on the wall behind each sink and a pendant light that hangs in front of the mirrors. This was a fun project. Paint can truly transform anything! The paint I used is Annie Sloan French Linen. When dry, I sealed it with Modern Masters Master Clear Supreme. I did not use a primer prior to painting. I guess I will find out eventually if that was a good idea! What I have learned about sealers is that some can turn your piece yellow. This is especially noticeable over white paint. Still learning about furniture finishing and have decided that keeping a notebook on my trial and errors would be a good idea. Way too time consuming, and expensive, to make those mistakes on the actual piece.
